Balenciaga Day Purple Leather Hobo

Balenciaga’s Motorcycle bags arrived in the early 2000s and spawned a thousand imitators, none of which quite got the leather right. This Day hobo is in a saturated violet blue leather, deliberately crinkled and soft, with the well loved look the house made its signature. Studs, buckled side tabs, and long leather tassels in matching purple dangle from the zipper pulls, and a single handle hangs easily over the shoulder. It’s a bag that looks better the more it’s been carried, which is the entire point.
