Barbara Ronchi shines in Venice with Armani elegance

Barbara Ronchi appeared at the Venice Film Festival 2025 as Armani's true muse – in a sleek black and white outfit chosen for the presentation of the film Elisa. It doesn't take much to impress – this has long been the philosophy of Giorgio Armani, the king of Italian elegance. For half a century, he has been dressing actresses from all over the world in outfits that stand out for their simplicity, finesse, and impeccable craftsmanship. They embody his ideal of womanhood – always confident and elegant, wherever she appears. It was in this spirit that Barbara Ronchi shone on the red carpet at Lido, turning the classic black and white combination into a symbol of modern sophistication.

A black jacket with long sleeves and large matte buttons, paired with high-waisted trousers that elongate the figure and add charm, combined with a white blouse with a generous but rounded neckline: this is the outfit designed by Giorgio Armani and worn by Ronky thanks to stylist Vanessa Bozzaki.

Large dark sunglasses with clean geometric lines and high-heeled shoes by Christian Louboutin complete the look, emphasizing the interplay of black and white for an even more sophisticated effect. This is elegance of the highest order – the kind that one of the greatest and longest-standing masters of Made in Italy has been offering for more than half a century to the stars he dresses.

The title of the film with which Barbara Ronchi is participating in the Venice Film Festival competition is also Italian – Elisa by Leonardo Di Costanzo. In it, the actress plays a 35-year-old woman convicted of murdering her older sister and burning her body – a crime she claims to remember almost nothing about. When she decides to cooperate with criminologist Alaoui and participate in his research, forgotten memories gradually resurface. In this painful journey to the truth, Elisa begins to discover the first signs of possible redemption. The screenplay, written by Di Costanzo together with Bruno Oliviero and Valia Santella, was inspired by the research and conversations of criminologists Adolfo Ceretti and Lorenzo Natali in the essay "I wanted to kill her." The film's premiere is scheduled for Friday, September 5, when Ronchi will be joined by French actor Roschdy Zem, Diego Ribon, and Valeria Golino, who also stars in the film.
