Blake Lively winks at Britney Spears
Blake Lively has been appearing in public constantly for the past few days. And for good reason: the actress is in the midst of promoting her new film It Ends With Us, adapted from the novel of the same name. All her outfits have one thing in common: they are directly inspired by her character Lily Bloom, a florist who runs a boutique in Boston. This led to a series of colourful looks, including a denim ensemble by Chanel, an organza dress by Vivienne Westwood embodying freshness and lightness, an embroidered and rhinestone-encrusted mini dress with floral and sailor motifs by Dauphinette and an ensemble consisting of a coat and trousers embroidered with matching flowers. Versace automne-hiver 2002-2003
Blake Lively winks at Britney Spears to promote 'It Ends With Us'.
In New York to celebrate the screening of her film, Blake Lively chose a creation with a naturally bucolic tinge. A vintage Versace gown from the Italian fashion house's autumn-winter 2002-2003 collection, the theme was colour combined with sex appeal. But if this dress is on everyone's lips right now, it's not just because it's exclusive, but because it was worn by Britney Spears a while back. Blake Lively, who chose to adorn it with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, wanted to pay tribute to the pop star she holds so dear: "The greatest queen who made us all want to shine, write and share our stories. Britney, all of us, have memories of when you inspired us with your strength and your work. Thank you for encouraging so many women to share their stories. I am so excited to see your biopic and what you have in store for us," she shared on Instagram.

Britney Spears, whose troubled life and career will soon be adapted for the big screen in a biopic, wore this very dress to the front row of Donatella Versace's famous fashion show in the early 2000s.
