Brad Pitt and George Clooney - the explosive duo at the Venice Film Festival 2024

Welcome to Venice! Hollywood's two highest-paid actors Brad Pitt and George Clooney have arrived at the lagoon aboard a gondola to present their new film "Wolves" directed by John Watts. It was an opportunity for the couple to reunite more than fifteen years after their last film collaboration.
Back in 2008, the two titans of American action cinema starred in Ethan Coen's Burn After Reading, a comedy brimming with action, humour and surprises. This film marks their latest collaboration on the big screen. But director John Watts chose them 16 years later to play the lead roles in his new feature film, "Wolves," now one of the seven nuggets to be unveiled at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.

In this new action film (the duo's favorite genre), Brad Pitt and George Clooney are cast as professionals in charge of cleaning up a crime scene when a second professional arrives on the scene. Their job is to solve problems and, most of all, remove anything that could harm their employer. While this is a profession usually reserved for loners, the two men are forced to team up when both are called to help after a high-profile crime.

After coming to present this thriller-comedy at the Venice Film Festival and greeting the fans , the two men met again on the red carpet for the Wolfs photo shoot on Venice's Lido. In addition to the glances that testified to their unfailing complicity, the two actors chose similar outfits. While George Clooney opted for a simple mousy grey suit paired with an immaculate shirt, Brad Pitt chose a more casual outfit consisting of a white T-shirt and a light blue suit. An explosive duo!
