Dior Cruise 2024 Collection - Love Letter to Mexico
 
It is an elegant and simple story that is a gesture of respect to Frida Kahlo.


 
For the Cruise 2024 fashion show, the brand presented the collection in Mexico City, Mexico - the country that inspired the brand's founder Christian Dior.

 
Right from the start it was a cultural feast as the show began with a mariachi band playing rhythmic instrumental music as guests took their seats.

 
Staying true to form, the presentation featured Dior's iconic feminine codes - from fluted sleeves to variously interpreted lace details and effortlessly styled silhouettes. 



Subtle butterfly motifs featured prominently in the collection, such as butterfly-embellished necklaces and butterfly corsages.
 At the end of the revue, Chiuri delivered a message about femicide in Mexico. To the musical backdrop of "Canción sin miedo (Song without Fear)," models came out in white dresses, all embroidered with different messages, from "Hope" to "Viva mi vida!"
