But before the actual show, we always have our eyes on the red carpet, which always offers plenty to discuss.
Laverne Cox paired a gilded bustier with a sheer black cape from the Mugler archives. Vanessa Hudgens also opted for a long black gown (Vera Wang, her choice), reflecting the energy of Dominic Sessa's bespoke tuxedo from Tom Ford.
