Heavily inspired by Hubert de Givenchy's recent collections, this season's latest piece contradicts historical silhouettes and reimagines them. For example, in terms of womenswear, traditionally masculine shapes have been adapted to suit the modern Givenchy woman.
Two trends define the female wardrobe. On the one hand, masculine volumes are reimagined with plunging necklines, and on the other, cuts are slightly reduced in proportion. Mini skirts give a modern twist to power dressing. The double-faced cotton and cocoon coats echo those from the catwalk. Also Givenchy's iconic trench coat is reimagined with couture volumes at the back. A dash of archival elegance is infused into wardrobe essentials such as tops and trousers.
