The woman Huishan Zhang is a wolf in extravagantly embroidered clothes.
This season was inspired by Roger Campbell's 1999 film Cruel Intentions, which starred a number of glamorous women such as Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair and Christine Baranski.
The collection focuses on feelings, specifically what adolescents feel as adults and what youth means to those who remember. To illustrate this idea, the designer chooses two models of different ages to show at his Spring 2024 show.
The collection demonstrates the designer's versatility in creating daywear and his taste for elegant cocktail outfits. The rhinestone-embellished denim ensembles, sharply cut suits with embroidered engobe and elegant tweed jackets embellished with flounces and ornate buttons showcased his skill in creating cocktail wear. The use of lightweight neoprene in individual pieces such as bolero jackets, cropped trousers and A-line dresses further demonstrated his craftsmanship. The collection also featured tulle dresses in the form of polka dot dresses and mini dresses with floral embellishments and corset detailing at the bust.
