Jennifer Lopez never ceases to surprise us with her stylistic metamorphoses. Having accustomed us to some pretty sexy and daring outfits, she is now sporting a Dior look with a ladylike twist on the occasion of a photo shoot in London for the promotion of Unstoppable, the William Goldenberg drama film in which she stars. But J.Lo wouldn't be the style icon she is if she wore a bon ton outfit without spicing it up with an unexpected touch, and in fact she chose a pair of shoes that aren't exactly what they seem, so to speak.
Jennifer Lopez's look, taken (almost) directly from the Dior by Maria Grazia Chiuri show for the Fall/Winter 2024 2025 season, relied on the classic black and white combination and had a very elegant white double-breasted coat with a structured line as the centerpiece. As accessories, JLo opted for a black fisherman's hat (replacing the fedora model seen on the catwalk) and one of the Parisian house's most iconic bags, the Lady Dior mini in the same colour.

But the shoes rocked this otherwise polite outfit. In this case, it was a hybrid between boots and gladiator sandals. In fact, at first glance, one might have thought Jennifer Lopez was wearing a classic pair of black patent knee-high boots, but instead, surprise: at the back, they revealed heel and calf skin, vertically interrupted by a series of no less than five straps with gold buckles. These boots-sandals were distinguished by another unusual element: the heel, a modest height shaped by a gold sphere.

With this London look, Jennifer Lopez not only confirmed her ability to reinvent herself, mastering Parisian style codes with ease, but also officially nominated herself as the extravagant shoe record holder for 2024.
