Nicolas Ghesquiere's show for Louis Vuitton was a declaration of love for France, Paris and everything we associate with them. And also of the 1980s, which the designer cherishes.

The collection was presented in the brand's new building. Previously, there was a bank here, although the place was originally designed as a hotel for the foreign guests of the 1900 World's Fair. With the chosen location, it not only highlights the strength of the fashion house, but once again takes us on an interesting journey. "Vuitton is a luxury brand but focuses on functionality as it helps to travel comfortably. Mobility is important for clothing," he adds.

In a bright orange spherical space designed by James Chinland, Nicolas presented an incredibly light and fabulously Parisian collection. In it we see her favourite leather , usually used for outerwear, mixed with fabulous ankle length skirts, and then she showed massive blouses and belts paired with the same skirts.
The designer hung camera bags around the models' necks, played with knotted leather shoe tops, made gorgeous bomber jackets out of very fine leather, satin and neoprene, and paired strappy pants with evening tops.
