Gucci, Balenciaga and Isabel Marant are among the winners of PETA's 2023 Fashion Awards.
PETA has revealed the winners of its annual PETA Fashion Awards, which honour brands that the animal rights group says have made tangible efforts to reduce animal cruelty and improve sustainability in 2023.
The award for best luxury moment was given to Isabel Marant after the fashion house confirmed its ban on the use of fur, angora and exotic skins.
Balenciaga received the best luxury product award for its all-vegan LUNAFORM vegan leather coat, and the best moment in street fashion went to French fashion group SMCP for banning down and other feathers.
The Trendsetter of the Year Award was presented to Ganni for their collaboration with vegetable tanner Ohoskin and for their work with Polybion to create a jacket made from bacteria.
The award for Best Movie Moment went to Ryan Gosling, who wore a pair of vegan boots from "Goodfellas Don't Wear Leather" in the movie "Barbie."
Gucci received the Best Vegan Bag award for the 1955 Demetra Horsebit bag, made from the brand's alternative leather and a favorite of Billy Ellis.
