Luxury fashion house Valentino has unveiled its Pre-Fall 2024 collection, which combines diverse elements into a single fashion story, presenting a journey through sophisticated urban styles and romantic elegance.
Proportion is a key element throughout the collection, with different silhouettes being explored from tall to long. This exploration of proportion blurs the traditional boundaries between men's and women's fashion.
The collection respects and challenges traditional dress codes. Coats with classic shoulder and sleeve construction are adapted to a more romantic, slimmer and feminine cut.
When it comes to accessories, Valentino Garavani's line shines with exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Pre-Fall 2024 collection presents new silhouettes and variations on classic pieces such as the Rockstud Spike, Roman Stud and Locò. The Valentino Garavani VLogo Moon Valentino Garavani bag appears in new and varied versions, and the iconic chain is present on new silhouettes with diverse functionality. Shoes adorned with the VLogo and Rockstud motifs appear in updated shoe and sandal designs. The collection also includes novelties such as the Valentino Garavani VLogo Locker mari-jan and formal shoes.
"The idea of luxury on display is gone. Now ethics matter much more, it's much more luxurious," says Piccioli. "At the end of the day, you want what you know, and here we're just showing it in a different form."
